Laser hair removal requires that the root be present so that the laser can focus in on the pigment it contains.

Good Candidates for Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal can be performed on anyone above the age of eighteen, provided they have no life-threatening illnesses or severe skin conditions. Sciton ClearScan can be used on all skin colors, although it is important to consult with Dr. Feng prior to undergoing the treatment.

Is There Any Recovery Time Needed?

Laser hair removal does not require downtime; most patients resume their daily routine immediately after the treatment. In some cases, patients may notice some slight swelling and redness. This is a temporary side effect of the treatment and will subside soon.

Dr. Feng may prescribe post-treatment medications if needed, and these are to be taken as prescribed.
